FROM A SINGLE-YARD OPERATION TO A REGIONAL LEADER

Inter-Mountain was founded in 1982 with a simple but ambitious vision: do quality work, treat people right, and build something that lasts. What started as a small pipe yard in Wyoming has grown into the Rocky Mountain region’s most trusted provider of custom pipe and threading solutions.

Over the past four decades, we’ve expanded our capabilities to meet the evolving needs of the industries we serve—oil & gas, mining, construction, environmental, and geothermal. Along the way, we’ve invested in advanced equipment, built a dedicated team, and never lost sight of the values that got us here.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come, but we’re even more focused on what’s ahead: continuing to innovate, serve, and deliver for the people who count on us.

What we believe in

At Inter-Mountain, our values aren’t corporate jargon—they’re how we operate, every single day:

  • Integrity is Paramount

We do things the right way, not the easy way—even when no one’s watching.

  • Keep Moving Forward

We’re always improving, whether it’s through technology, training, or doing better by our customers.

  • Strengthen Our Community

Wyoming is our home. We invest in the people and places that raised us.

  • Add to the Culture

Everyone here contributes. Everyone matters. That’s how we grow—together.

led by people who've done the work

We know the job because we’ve done the job. Our leadership team started in the shop—and that experience shapes how we hire, how we lead, and how we serve our customers. Whether it’s machining a custom part or solving a supply chain crunch, our team shows up with pride, skill, and a shared commitment to doing things the right way.
