PIPE &
THREADING CO.
WIRELINE
DRILL ROD
Diamond
Core Drilling requires drill rod to
meet exacting straightness and roundness
standards. Our core rod is manufactured to
ASTM A513 specifications, stress
relieved and threaded to the
tightest tolerances possible. In addition, all
rod ends are treated to inhibit galling of threads.
We offer a 1026
carbon steel (72,000# minimum yield) drill rod for shallow to medium depth
requirements. For deeper holes, a 4130 alloy (95,000# minimum yield)
rod is used for increased strength and abrasion resistance. All rods
can be manufactured to interchange with the thread of your choice.
Parallel wall rods offer
economy, better availability and flexibility with respect to lengths. Composite
rods, on the other hand (pictured at left), are easier to handle and permit
work at greater depths due to lighter weight. We take pride in offering
you a product of the highest quality available anywhere.
